The oldest and low-production vine plots are carefully chosen, the grapes are again sorted on entering the winery. The two varieties are made independently, fermented at a temperature between 26 and 28ºC. After devatting, it is placed in best-quality French oak casks, which have contained a single wine for 4-6 months. It remains in the cask for 12 months. After this period a selection of the best casks is made and the two varieties are mixed in a steel vat for micro-oxygenation until the optimal time for bottling is reached. Sufficient months having elapsed, it is launched on the market.


It exhibits an intense cherry red colour and violet-red border. In nose it shows us its distinguished aromas of mature red fruits on a pleasant toffee background and some sweet spice. In mouth feel it shows a powerful character, both full-flavoured and noble, conferring on it an exclusive personality.


Good accompaniments are grilled white and red meats, lamb, pork or ox-meat, mushrooms and cured cheeses. Serve between 16-18ºC.
